Heating and configuration

• Select one heating configuration: ambient to 300°C / 0.5 kW, or ambient to 500°C / 0.8 kW. These are alternative configurations, not simultaneous ratings.
• The hydraulic load is applied manually. Touchscreen temperature programming does not make the press automatically load-controlled.
• 220 V or 110 V supply can be specified when ordering. Confirm the required voltage and heating configuration before quotation.
• Water cooling can be started manually or through the program. The external chiller shown in the demonstration is optional; confirm the mold and cooling accessories supplied.

Controller

• Set upper/lower platen temperatures, holding times and sample dimensions on the 7-inch touchscreen.
• Use up to 18 temperature/time segments and switch between table and curve displays. Sample dimensions are used for the displayed pressure calculation.

Operating overview

1. Set the required heating parameters and start the upper and lower platen heating.
2. Position the compatible sample mold and, at the required temperature, apply hydraulic load using the manual handle.
3. After the process, release the load and cool as required before removing the sample. Follow the supplied manual and laboratory safety procedures.
